Lounge access

Star Alliance Gold publishes access to lounges displaying the Gold symbol, with one guest travelling on a Star Alliance flight that day; the detailed lounge policy and member-airline exceptions still apply. Oneworld Sapphire provides Business Class or frequent-flyer lounge access when departing on an eligible flight marketed and operated by a oneworld member. Baggage and priority

Star Alliance Gold publishes 20 kg extra under the weight concept or one extra piece under the piece concept. Oneworld Sapphire publishes 15 kg under the weight system, while piece-system treatment changes with the itinerary and fare. Check the operating airline before assuming either applies. Both offer priority services, but airport and carrier delivery can differ.

Network size is not the decision
